An automaker’s media website is a storehouse of product info, photos and videos, news releases, background info, executive bios and more. Reporters depend on them for quick access to info and resources for their stories. But sadly, some automaker media websites are difficult to navigate and frustrate the hell out of journalists trying to find what they need on deadline.
But since Courtney Protz-Sanders started managing the media website for the many versions of Chrysler dating back to its DaimlerChrysler days, it has been one of the top-rated sites among journalists, and was the first to offer direct video downloads as far back as 2007. Courtney is host and TTAC Creator Ed Garsten’s guest on this episode of “Tales From the Beat,” the podcast that looks at news and PR from both sides of the scrimmage line.
TTAC Creator Ed Garsten hosts ” Tales from the Beat,” a podcast about the automotive and media worlds. A veteran reporter and public relations operative, Garsten worked for CNN, The Associated Press, The Detroit News, Chrysler’s PR department and Franco Public Relations. He is currently a senior contributor for Forbes.
The TTAC Creators Series tells stories and amplifies creators from all corners of the car world, including culture, dealerships, collections, modified builds and more.
