Peugeot is recalling mild-hybrid versions of its 308, 408, 2008, 3008 and 5008 due to a fuel leak that could pose a fire risk.
“Due to a manufacturing defect, the threaded connection between the high-pressure fuel pump and the fuel rail may become loose,” the company says in its recall notice.
“If this occurs, fuel may leak in the presence of an external ignition source and could result in a vehicle fire.
“A vehicle fire could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users and/or damage to property.”
- A total of 934 affected vehicles are included on the recall notice
- The recall affects ‘HEV’ versions of the 308, 408, 2008, 3008 and 5008 produced between 2024 and 2025
