Jeep recently revealed its product roadmap for the next few months, showing redesigned versions of some models, including the 2026 Grand Wagoneer. The full-size SUV gained revised styling, new tech, and a range-extended powertrain.
Jeep’s teaser images showed a charging port, which suggests a 4xe powertrain for the Grand Wagoneer. It’s expected to receive a range-extended electric powertrain like the one announced for the Ram 1500 Ramcharger, which would mean a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and a dual-motor all-wheel drive system. The combination would likely produce north of 650 horsepower.
Unlike earlier Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer models, the 2026 version will wear a Jeep badge on its hood. The new look is more upright and boxier than the current models, though the SUV retains its imposing slab sides and minivan-like proportions.
Jeep also said the new Recon EV will arrive soon, with CEO Bob Broderdorf saying “Recon will show the innovation that the Jeep brand team is capable of, while bringing a whole new customer base to the brand.” In addition to the new models, the automaker will release a range of new customization options for the Wrangler and Gladiator.
Broderdorf said the Gladiator would “become more personal, more customizable, and we’re going to have more fun. If there’s one thing I know from talking to a lot of Wrangler customers, they don’t want to be told what they can or can’t do with their Jeep, so we’re going to unlock options, new colors, new features with engine variants.”
